OCCUPATION DESCRIPTION
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)
General:
Inspects, tests, repairs and installs aircraft hydromechanical and flight system components and aircraft engines, sub-assemblies and components.
Tasks Include:
- inspects, tests, repairs and installs aircraft hydromechanical, piston and gas turbine engine systems and components;
- inspects, tests, repairs and installs flight control system components, rotary and fixed wing;
- submits engines to final tests in specially designed testing facilities, and makes adjustments
- treats engines with anti-corrosion agents;
- services auxiliary motors and engine accessories such as generators, starters and thermocouples;
- conducts routine pre-flight engine inspections;
- maintains records of action taken;
- maintains and overhauls aircraft systems and sub-assemblies, in accordance with established maintenance schedules, and rectifies defects or malfunctions recorded by test or flight crews;
- dismantles sub-assemblies and checks parts for wear using test apparatus to simulate flying conditions;
- checks fuel and oil lines, control cables and other aircraft systems;
- reassembles components and checks them for operating efficiency;
- conducts routine pre-flight aircraft inspections.
Salary:US$23,000 monthly plus other attractive benefits.

Job Description:
To co-ordinate and represent regional activity within a designated region of Aerocorp. Main activity is procurement of welding and various aeronautic machinery.
Principal Duties:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

Main responsibility is to retrieve potential welding and avionics equipment suppliers in Eastern Europe.
Serve as primary liaison between Aerocorp and its regional partners and participate in
wind industry policy and communications efforts in the region.
Foster growth of regional partners and help build their capacity.
Coordinate closely with member companies active in the region to understand their
priorities, and work with regional partners to make sure their needs are being met and
seek additional support and resources as needed.
Ensure effective coordination of Aerocorp and regional partners, particularly deploying
Aerocorp technical resources efficiently and effectively.
Facilitate consensus wind industry policy positions on issues that cross regional
partner boundaries.
Serve as a media spokesperson on issues in the region.
Communicate state and regional issues and developments to Aerocorp’s membership
and Board through various means including assisting with articles for Aerocorp
publications and committee and board reporting;
Activate member companies including the supply chain for state and regional policy
advocacy, in coordination with Aerocorp regional partners.
Organize industry activity, in consultation with regional partners, in key states where
the industry may be under-represented.
Run road shows to educate the public about wind energy in key states.
Hire and oversee consultants as appropriate.
